Student Wellness
LAEF Donated $245,000 to create the LAHS well space, $60,000 to build middle school well spaces, and $18,000 to furnish elementary well spaces!
These spaces are a calm and safe place for students to reset and seek counseling support. They promote improved mental health, and provide tools for social/emotional management and coping strategies.
LAEF provides annual donations to each school to maintain and stock each Well Space.
LAEF partnered with the District and the Sethi Family to create a Wellness Garden outside of the LAHS Well Space, known as The Oasis. The space officially opened in September of 2023.
LAEF provides low cost after-school counseling groups at both middle schools. Groups have focused on improving confidence and communication skills, building empathy and resilience, and grief support.
LAEF donated $69,056 in 2025-26, $78,185 in 2024-25 and $55,000 in 2023-24 to provide stipends for counseling interns. These staff members provide extra support to students in our Well Spaces!

Scholarship Impact

Become a LAEF Scholarship Supporter!
For only $24 per month, you can sponsor a kid that cannot otherwise afford it!
You'll fund two LAEF classes in our After-School Program each school year.
LAEF Enrichment Class Scholarships
LAEF is committed to providing enrichment opportunities for EVERY Los Al kid, whether or not their family can afford the class fees. If a family is going through a tough time financially, they are invited to apply for a scholarship, which waives a percentage of class fees. Each scholarship request is handled personally and sensitively by LAEF staff. Each year, a child can receive support for at least three classes, which includes one class during LAEF’s fall, spring and summer sessions!
Each year, approximately $30,000 in enrichment class scholarships are granted to Los Al families!

Thank you to these amazing funders of LAEF enrichment class scholarships:
